Way back in the 1990's when CDROMs and CDRs were just starting to become popular, many people wanted to make backup copies of the software they've purchased. The US copyright law does state that you can legally make a backup copy of your software to keep as an archive. Many people also wanted to make their archives look good with jewel cases and covers. Thus, CoverPro was born.
